How do I order a custom runner or logo mat?

The first thing you need to decide is what size mat you would like to order. You can see the standard sizes available here. Also have a look at our gallery for design ideas. Complete the order form and send through to us with any images you would like included. If you would like to change the colours on one of our signature classroom mat designs simply complete the order form and send through to us. We will contact you with any questions.

If you know what size custom mat you would like select that from our custom mat page and add to cart - we will always contact you to discuss the design and will create artwork mockups at no additional cost for you to review. We will make as many changes to the artwork as necessary until you are happy with the final design - no additional cost.

What is the warranty policy?

All our beautiful classroom rugs have a 3 year warranty.

This warranty is not for normal wear and tear but for any issues that would not normally be considered to have been caused by "typical classroom use". See below for more specific terms but feel free to give us a call and discuss any issues or concerns you have. This is an Australian family-owned business and our aim is to make sure that you are happy with our products and service.

Our warranty contained in 'Goods & Services' above is subject to the following conditions: (i) the goods must be stored in appropriate conditions; if you do not store them in appropriate conditions we cannot be held responsible for faults or problems that arise as a result; (ii) any claim by you in respect of any shortages and/or defects in the goods must be notified to us by you within seven days of the delivery date, stating the nature of the shortage/defect and quoting the invoice no.; failure to so notify us will deem you to have accepted the goods. In some cases Bloom Classroom may require you to return the defective goods to Bloom Classroom at its cost. Where you make a valid claim in respect of any shortages or defects and we are liable for the claim, we can at our option make up the shortages or replace the goods free of charge, or refund the price of the goods in question to you. In addition for defective goods we will refund you reasonable costs incurred for postage of the goods, but we shall have no further liability to you. If you do not notify Bloom Classroom accordingly, Bloom Classroom shall have no liability for any defects and you shall be bound to pay for the goods. (iii) Warranty does not cover colour fading due to sunlight.

How long does it take to produce my mat?

As part of our commitment to sustainability and reduction of waste we produce our mats to order. All mats take approximately 2-3 weeks to produce and then dispatch.

How many colours are there to choose from?

We have 100 beautiful bright colours to choose from. You can use as many of them as you need for each design. View our colour chart here

Is there an extra charge for artwork and set ups?

There is no additional charge for the artwork required for a custom designed classroom mat, hall runner or logo mat. We will work with you on the artwork until you are happy with the final result.

Are all your mats customisable?

Yes, you can change the colours on any of our mats to suit your theme or colour scheme. You can also design your own rug and send us the image to create something unique. We are able to change the colours on our Indigenous mats but we respect the artists original work and do not alter the images.

What is the cost of shipping?

We want to be completely transparent with our freight policy and therefor do not offer "free freight" when it is really hidden in the cost of the goods. We will always be very upfront and clear with our freight charges. We endeavour to keep our freight as low as possible and absorb as much of the cost as we can. Please refer to the freight table for freight costs.

Why has my order come in separate deliveries?

To ensure that we are able to offer the highest quality products available we have sourced suppliers who are experts in their field. This has meant that we have needed go to different manufacturers for specific items. To help reduce our carbon footprint we have our manufacturers deliver the goods direct to which also reduces the time you have to wait for your order. If you place an order which has items from different suppliers they will be sent separately, however you will be given tracking for each delivery and will only be charged one freight fee.

What are your classroom, welcome mats and hall runners made from?

All our mats are commercial quality which is why we can confidently give you a 3-year warranty.

You will not find a better-quality classroom mat available in Australia. The tops of our mats are specifically tufted & engineered for printing onto. We use water based non-toxic fade resistant ink to create our vibrant designs. The top of our mats are made from 100% recycled materials such as ocean waste, discarded fabrics and post-consumer plastic bottles. The base of our mats is heavy duty commercial grade Nitrile Rubber, which is very different to Latex Rubber, like most other mats on the market. Our mats weight 16 kgs so they are perfect for use in a classroom. They have the highest nonslip rating and guaranteed to always lay flat and never curl up, with non-trip edges they are never a trip hazard. The rubber backing is UV resistant and the only rubber that can be commercially machine washed.

Sustainable - The yarn used in our classroom rugs and logo mats is made from reclaimed fishing nets which are dumped into the ocean and cloth waste that would otherwise be destined for landfill.  These fibres are recycled back to their original purity without losing any quality. The base of our mats are 34% recycled nitrile rubber, 20% of this is from recycled car tyres and the remainder is from post consumer plastic bottles. Our mats are part of a global initiative which has collectively reduced the amount of discarded fishing nets floating in the ocean or on the ocean floor by 640 000 tonnes, saving millions of marine animals.

How do I cancel my order?

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

Bloom Classroom wants you to be totally satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your purchase then please contact our customer service team within 7 days of your order arriving. To receive a full refund the purchased item must still be in a saleable condition with packaging. For a change of mind we are happy to offer a full refund within 7 days of your order arriving however this does not cover the cost of returning the item and the product must still be in a saleable condition with original packaging intact. Custom prints which are made to order are not refundable.
