In the video above we have demonstrated just how effectively and easily you can clean our mats. The mat used was very dirty and had been on the floor in the classroom for 12 months without any cleaning. This is an extreme example but perfect to demonstrate the difference between our mats and everything else available.

We are proud to a have a range of classroom, welcome mats & runners that can easily and effectively be cleaned. Unlike all other classroom mats on the market, Bloom Classroom mats can actually be cleaned so that they will look like new. And you can easily do it yourself!

The first step is to vacuum your rug or mat thoroughly to remove any surface dirt or debris. If there are stains and marks treat with a carpet stain remover and then scrub with a plastic bristled brush and warm water. (see video above). Once you have spot cleaned any marks or stains you may choose to give the mat an overall clean with a hose. If you don't have any carpet stain remover, you can also spot clean using a mild detergent and warm water. To remove any water from hosing we suggest using the back of broom as a scraper, to "pull" excess water off the rug. If you have hosed the mat, it will need to be hung to dry in the shade, this allows the water to run off the mat. Our mats are waterproof so they will not drain whilst left sitting flat. You may also give the mat an overall clean using a wet/dry vacuum cleaner. Our mats can also be professionally cleaned. It is not necessary to hose the mat if you are happy with the results after spot cleaning.

*Please avoid; placing mats in direct sunlight for long time periods (This can affect colour integrities) and could cause colours to fade.

*Please avoid; using certain chemical cleaners ie: acids, bleaches and certain detergents (please read cleaning product instructions prior to usage and perform a spot test first).

*To prolong the life of your Bloom Classroom rug; cleaning is recommended as required. (Note above guidelines).

*We recommend spot cleaning as soon as an incident happens.
