• All our classroom mats are waterproof so flooring underneath will not get wet and depending on how much water is used - the mat will dry overnight ready to use next morning.

Warranty

• We stand behind the commercial quality of our mats and know they are fit for purpose.  We offer a 3-year warranty against normal wear and tear in the classroom.  

Sustainable Recycled

• The top of all our mats are made from 100% recycled materials. 
• As part of a global initiative Bloom Classroom has contributed to the removal of 640 000 tonnes of these discarded ghost fishing nets – saving thousands of marine animals. 
• The base of our mats are made of 20% recycled car tyres and 14% recycled post-consumer plastic bottles.

A yarning circle is one of those key elements of Indigenous culture, where decisions are made collaboratively and through inclusive dialogue. The mat has non-trip edges, grip nonslip backing and weighs 15kgs so it will not move around on the floor.  You can change the colours used in the design, send us an email with the changes and we will provide the artwork for approval with as many revisions as required. Yarning circles have been used across Indigenous communities for thousands of years and act as a conversational process for storytelling, sharing knowledge, safeguarding beliefs and culture, and finding the right ways to solve problems and criticisms without conflict, hostility, or blame.

In the school setting, the yarning circle is not about people ‘presenting’ their ideas or thoughts, but rather about engaging collectively to share ideas, stories and passions. A yarning circle should be a safe space and may help to break down that teacher/student barrier that can exist. The creation of the circle changes the conversational dynamic between people. It can be a great way of encouraging your quieter students to speak up and share their voice.
