Indigenous Hall Runner Designs
Ready to go designs!
If you don't have your own Indigenous artwork why not use ours. We have collaborated with our artists to adapt their original artworks to create a ready to go hall runner range. Budyari Nawunya is a stunning design created by Dominique Kean who is a Sydney based Artist and primary school teacher. This gorgeous design is also available as a classroom mat 1.8m x 3.4m - click here to view. Our hall runners are the perfect way to personalise and elevate your school assemblies. They also help to create a permanent aisle if students are seated on the floor and bring school spirit to every celebration.
Please note: There may be some variation in the design from the image on website due to position of logo/crest, text or length of runner selected.
We keep it really simple for you to have your own unique hall runner.
- Order the design with or without your school crest and welcome.
- Personalise the runner (at no additional cost) with a message, school values or your crest.

About the artwork
BUDYARI NAWUNYA translates to ‘good to see you’ in Dharug language and is the title of this artwork. It represents the strong connection between the staff, students and community. The school serves as a meeting place and is represented using large concentric circles in the middle of the canvas. It is a place where people come together to grow and where there is a strong sense of belonging. Following in the footsteps of their ancestors, staff and students travel together into the future with the valuable knowledge passed on from elders. Their footprints run parallel to the songlines connecting staff, students and community to the school. The stars at the top on the canvas pay tribute to the ancestors that have passed. At the base of the canvas the rocks on the land represent the solid foundation on which the school stands. Medicine leaves represent the healing nature of the various people and services that offer support to the students and their families in the school setting.
